About The Position

Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems in electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical areas. Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions for equipment setup and repair. Operates related equipment and conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks on equipment and systems. Makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements to equipment as directed. Prepares prescribed compounds and solutions for equipment operation and maintenance. Applies knowledge and experience in vacuum systems and pneumatic systems. Replaces cryo's, pumps, and chillers on heavy machinery. Troubleshoots and diagnoses heavy machinery used in manufacturing line. Handles hazardous chemicals and gases safely per procedures.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
  • Experience with high pressurized systems.
  • 2 years of troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience using multimeters for diagnostics.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in diagnosing and repairing heavy machinery used in manufacturing line.
  • Experience in handling hazardous chemicals and gases.
  • Experience with vacuum systems and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience replacing cryo's, pumps, and chillers on heavy machinery.
  • Ability to work from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
  • Experience performing calibration, adjustments, and modifications on equipment.
