The Technician supports the manufacturing, maintenance, and testing of equipment to maximize reliability and safety during events. This role requires advanced technical expertise to diagnose and resolve complex issues, such as printed circuit board (PCB) repairs and failure analysis. This role requires presence in our office's workshop 5 days per week.

Requirements

• College diploma (DEC) in electronics or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in electronic assembly, testing, and maintenance.
• Strong experience in diagnosing and repairing electronic equipment.
• Solid knowledge of standard measurement and testing instruments.
• Availability for occasional travel to provide on-site technical support.
• High level of precision, rigor, and strict adherence to safety procedures.
• Strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to participate in the annual workshop audit.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test electronic equipment according to established procedures.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues, including PCB repairs.
• Perform advanced repairs to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
• Create and maintain up-to-date technical documentation for equipment.
• Build new equipment and components for rental stock.
• Perform maintenance and refurbishment on rental equipment following events.
• Participate in the development of new products.
• Propose cost-effective and efficient solutions for equipment maintenance.
• Ensure parts inventory availability for equipment maintenance.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety standards within the workshop.
• Ensure safety compliance and promote best practices in the shop.
