Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree with major in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Hands-on skills of schematic capture and circuit simulation & analysis tools.
  • Experience with failure investigations and Root Cause & Corrective Action Analysis (RCCA), 8D
  • Hands on experience with electric/ electronics systems, and all standard lab equipment’s (DMM, MSO, Logic Analyzer, VNA, Power supplies)
  • Familiarity with communication protocols (RS485, UART, CAN, Ethernet)
  • 5+ years designing automotive electronics

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Altium preferred
  • Experience with automotive safety controllers – experience with ISO26262 is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Capture requirements from all stakeholders and translate into technical specifications
  • Responsible for schematics capture, component selection and design release.
  • Research new concepts and idealization of products, take it to production ready.
  • Performing Worst case design calculation, End of life estimation, Thermal Calculation and Components selection.
  • Work closely with PCB team and mechanical team to guide, review layouts.
  • Understanding and implementing power electronic topologies
  • Perform design failure analysis and support functional safety activities
  • Hands-on hardware bring-up, characterization, troubleshooting, and failure analysis
  • Collaborate with all engineering teams to guarantee adherence to technical specifications.
  • Support definition of design validation tests and end-of-line tests specification.
  • Prioritizes clear and timely communication with the team when issues or failures arise, facilitating a collaborative approach to identifying solutions and learning from setbacks.
