About The Position

The Electronics Engineering Technician I supports design engineering and development activities and uses electronic and mechanical testing equipment. This role involves hands-on prototyping and testing, setting up equipment, keeping records, and performing routine repairs.

Responsibilities

• Verify and operate automated test equipment, special test equipment and test cables
• Assist with installations and upgrades of equipment
• Uses Digital Multimeters and oscilloscopes, as well as other test and measurement equipment
• Assemble test fixtures and set up test equipment for product development team
• Recommend tools, equipment and test fixture needs and support acquisition
• Perform hands-on prototyping and testing of new and modified designs under direction of Design Engineering personnel
