Join us. DZYNE has an immediate need for a talented Electronics Engineer who will be a hands-on contributor across the full lifecycle of DZYNE’s aircraft and launcher electrical systems. In this role, the engineer will perform circuit and subsystem design, system integration, troubleshooting, harness design, avionics/electronic system testing, and data analysis. This position reports to the Electrical Engineering Manager, while working directly with Vehicle Technical Leads and Program Managers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 to 5+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Demonstrated capability in circuit board design, bring-up, and validation
  • Proven experience in designing electronics from concept to functional prototype, including hardware selection, documentation, and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Analog/Mixed-signal and Digital circuits/components
  • Competence with common test equipment, and CAD tools such as Altium
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in designing electronics for robotic and/or aircraft systems
  • Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, common serial interfaces, and firmware/software integration
  • UAV experience highly desirable
  • Experience working in small to medium sized teams in a fast-paced R&D environment
  • Familiarity with MIL-spec hardware and harnessing

Responsibilities

  • Participate in full PCB design cycle involving schematic design, component selection, supervision or completion of layout, bring-up, functional verification, and performance tests
  • Design, develop, integrate, and debug avionics systems/subsystems
  • Define wire harnesses connecting systems within the air vehicle
  • Support design updates driven by product improvements, obsolescence, and evolving requirements
  • Conduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews
  • Work closely with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to support new product development and active deployments in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate and encourage adherence to best practices and standard procedures
