About The Position

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for an Electronics Engineer to join their Life Cycle Sustainment Operations Team in Elkridge, MD. In this role, you will support the testing and repair operations of airborne radars and test sets. You will apply Radio Frequency (RF) engineering principles to support analysis, and process support for legacy and emerging technologies. Familiarization with a wide variety of systems including radars would be a positive.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related STEM discipline with 2 years of relevant experience; or a Master of Science degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related STEM discipline
Experience with electrical and/or RF test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, etc.
Experience with software development using languages such as C++, Python, MATLAB, etc.
Experience with troubleshooting and debugging test software
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
U.S. Citizenship required

Nice To Haves

Current/Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance
Previous design or testing experience
Familiarity with Labview and/or MATLAB programming and troubleshooting
Proficiency in Technical Troubleshooting
Experience in Software Development

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting and performance evaluation of older test sets to include test set modification with documentation
Support production floor operators and test technicians in a timely fashion
Design and integration of new test sets
Unit under test evaluations
Documenting test procedures
Generate technical reports, track and report on performance
Reporting comms status to Program Managers and IPT Management
