About The Position

The Infosys Engineering unit applies a data-first approach to engineering and value-stream management, using technologies such as AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics to improve delivery processes and accelerate time to market. In the assigned Engineering Consultant 2 role, the employee translates business and technical needs into specifications, contributes to engineering design and iterative development, validates solutions, builds and refines prototypes, supports technical integration, and maintains technical documentation. The role calls for collaboration, strong communication, analytical problem-solving, innovation, and commitment to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. The position may require relocation and/or travel to the work or project location.

Requirements

• Experience in analog and digital circuit design, specifically DC-DC converters and filters.
• Experience with the Altium PCB design tool.
• Experience with embedded systems and microcontrollers.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Testing and validation experience.
• Experience working with communication protocols.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document business and technical requirements and translate them into actionable team specifications.
• Participate in design meetings, create initial design concepts, and support design sketches and models using established engineering tools and techniques.
• Participate in iterative engineering design cycles, refine prototypes, and coordinate implementation of feedback.
• Develop and refine solution specifications and perform validation activities, including simulations, to ensure solutions meet design specifications and criteria.
• Build and refine prototypes using test results and cross-functional team feedback to improve functionality.
• Undertake technical integration efforts, ensure system functionality, and identify and resolve interoperability issues.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and help organize knowledge-sharing sessions among team members.
