About The Position

This position is for an Electronics Engineer in the field of embedded electronic systems, with focus on electronic hardware design, system integration, and component development for our dispenser products. The Electronics Engineer will design electronic hardware within the area of electric vehicle chargers and conventional fuel dispensers. You will be responsible for the design, verification and implementation as well as belonging technical specifications and documentation, of your tasks. You will be based in Austin, TX.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering discipline (preferably electrical engineering).
  • Desired experience level 1-3 years.
  • Experience with Micro-controller environments and embedded systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience working on cross-functional design teams.
  • Experience in PDM systems.
  • Experience in electronical CAD (Altium, Orcad).
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD.
  • Fluent English is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in high voltage/power design is a merit.
  • Experience in software development is a merit.
  • Experience within safety and metrological standards such as UL, NOM, ATEX, IECEx, MID, and OIML is a merit.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implementation and testing of electronic components and subsystem to be used in the North America market.
  • Being able to take ownership of an Electronic-PCBA development.
  • Participate in testing and release procedures.
  • Provide full Technical Documentation Package for all developments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, mechanical, systems, manufacturing) to align requirements and ensure successful product integration.
  • Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex issues involving hardware, firmware, and system interactions.
  • Support design verification (DV), validation, and qualification activities at component, board, and system levels.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety, regulatory, and industry standards (e.g., PCI, EMC, UL).
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) and manufacturing, including issue resolution and design improvements.
  • Contribute to the definition and improvement of engineering processes, tools, and design guidelines.
