Electronics Engineer II

NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory
•$115,544 - $138,008

About The Position

The Electronics Engineer II will lead power electronics tasks within JPL’s Power Electronics Group, taking space-flight hardware designs from concept through build, test, and delivery. The role includes task-level leadership, executing to budgets and schedules, developing board designs and requirements, and reporting technical progress to Line, Project, and Institutional Management. The Power Electronics Group develops power-subsystem electronics concepts, implements power-system architecture designs, designs and supports implementation of hardware for flight projects, and contributes to project formulation and proposals. The engineer will design and test electronics subsystems and support equipment, contributing to all aspects of power-electronics development from concept to delivery. The role also supports advanced electronics technology, future missions, and mission proposals. The position is based at JPL in Pasadena, California. The typical full-time equivalent annual hiring range is $115,544–$138,008.
