The Electronics Engineer II is responsible for developing moderately complex electrical system designs for new products as well as design improvements for legacy products. Responsibilities also include exercising sound engineering judgement and presenting analysis summaries which support design decisions. This mid-level role operates with limited guidance and contributes to the design and development of electrical subsystems. The Electronics Engineer II will design, implement and test power supplies, sensor interfaces, and common communication protocols as well as fieldbus systems. They are expected to understand electrical and protocol-level interactions and to support both hardware interface and signal integrity debugging. The Electronics Engineer II will work both independently and in a team environment with Electronics Engineers, Software Engineers, Design Engineers, NPI Managers, and Test Technicians. Collaboration with other departments including manufacturing, QC, and Assembly is expected.
