About The Position

TSC is seeking an Electronics Technician located in our Huntsville, AL to support our production division. This role involves troubleshooting electronic assemblies down to the component level to support product reliability and repair, diagnosing and resolving issues in both RF and digital systems to return failed units to full functionality. The technician will log and interpret test data, collaborate with peers to identify trends and drive continuous improvement, and work closely with Technical Leads and Engineering to implement process enhancements. Proactive communication with management and team members is essential for aligning on goals and improving throughput. The role also includes setting up, calibrating, and validating test systems, and presenting findings clearly to various stakeholders. Adaptability in a dynamic manufacturing environment and responsiveness to shifting priorities are key.

Requirements

  • Associate degree related to aerospace or electronics and at least 6 years of production and/or assembly experience or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong understanding of electrical tools and equipment; crimpers, dies, multimeter, presses, connectors, contacts, wire gauges/types, soldering, etc.
  • Ability to assembly, test, rework, repair according to IPC Standards
  • Experience working in a design team environment with vendors, customers and peer engineers

Responsibilities
