At Didion Orf Recycling, we're looking for an experienced Electronics Buyer to help grow our IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) and electronics recycling business. In this role, you'll identify new purchasing opportunities, develop lasting customer relationships, and help ensure valuable electronic assets are responsibly recovered and recycled. Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in ITAD, electronics purchasing, procurement, or the electronics recycling industry
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience evaluating electronics and determining market value
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Building strong relationships with businesses, suppliers, and customers
  • Prospecting, generating leads, negotiating purchases, and closing deals
  • Managing the purchasing process from first contact through ongoing account management
  • Negotiating pricing and identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Evaluating the quality and value of electronic equipment
  • Monitoring market trends to make informed purchasing decisions
  • Working with operations and leadership to forecast demand and align purchasing strategies
  • Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
  • Providing exceptional customer service throughout every interaction
  • Supporting additional projects and responsibilities as needed
