About The Position

This position assembles printed circuit boards, cables, subassemblies, and panels according to drawings and work guides or instructions, using a variety of tools and equipment. Work must comply with Frontier Electronic Systems, customer, quality, and safety requirements. The role involves working in a normal electronics manufacturing environment, with expected hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to learn to read drawings.
• Ability to learn to solder.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.
• Must be a U.S. Person: a United States citizen or permanent resident; sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly tasks using hand and power tools consistently and in detail, following production drawings, work instructions, or oral directions.
• Read, understand, and work from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions when building electronic assemblies.
• Operate equipment including an X-ray machine, computers, lead formers, a board separator, a terminal press, a Scheulinger wire stripper, an aqueous cleaner, and soldering irons.
