About The Position

We are currently seeking a Mid-level Electronic Warfare Systems Engineer with experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering for our growing business in Dayton, Ohio. This position is for on-site support at Wright-Patterson AFB (WPAFB) and is contingent on contract award. Using systems engineering best practices and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods, design, develop, test, and document advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) and Radar sensor technologies. This involves assessing and refining system requirements, performing trade studies, creating system-level designs, designing and implementing tests, developing interfaces, and maintaining reference architectures.

Requirements

  • Experience in one or more of the following: model-based systems engineering (MBSE) to include SysML and DoDAF standards, mission-level modeling and simulation tools, high-fidelity RF modeling and simulation tools, digital signal processing (DSP), EW system design and signal processing, radar system design, measurements, and signal processing.
  • Familiarity with MBSE Tools Cameo, Sparx Enterprise Architect, and/or Visual Paradigm.
  • Familiarity with programming: a systems language (such as C and C++) and/or a high-level language (such as Julia, Python, MATLAB), and willingness to learn from others.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, or a related technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • US citizenship capable of obtaining and maintaining a US DoD security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • At least five years of professional Systems Engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB, algorithm development, and algorithm evaluation.
  • An active security clearance.
