About The Position

This position is located with PAE Fighters at WPAFB in Dayton Ohio. This is a full-time on-site position without a telework option. The role involves performing analyses, supporting development and testing activities, and providing technical advice related to radar and electronic warfare systems. The analyst will also support administrative and security functions for the AFLCMC/WA Directorate, including handling classified information and preparing documentation.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • An ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus 15 years of experience, a Master’s Degree plus 8 years or a PhD plus 6 years of experience is required.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
  • At least 10 years systems engineering experience, including developing and managing the acquisition of avionics modifications including but not limited to avionics, software, computer architecture, communication, radar and EW systems.
  • Knowledge of radar and electronic warfare theory and principles, intelligence processes and tradecraft, and an understanding of the radar design, development, and implementation process is required.
  • Knowledge in avionics, software, computer, radar, EW, and communications engineering principles.
  • Experience developing, acquiring and managing platform IA, cybersecurity and AT provisions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform analyses (including requirement analyses), and system capacity analysis, investigate alternative solutions and architecture trade-offs, make assessments, support operations concept development, and document results.
  • Assist in reviewing and/or developing draft systems intelligence and programmatic documents in support of milestone reviews and events and as directed.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, TIMs, technical reviews, interface control working group meetings, and other meetings as directed.
  • Support hardware/software development and related system ground and flight test activities such as but not limited to: hardware in-the-loop, subsystem integration labs, DT, and IOT&E related activities.
  • Provide technical advice, serve as the technical interface between Government customers and radar & system manufacturers, interact with customers, participate in meetings, and produce technical detailed products.
  • Perform technical activities associated with radar waveforms and signal and data processing techniques that provide robust performance in EMI, electronic countermeasure, multipath, ducting, and clutter environments.
  • Assist in accomplishing data processing including centroiding, tracker, timing issues, data loading issues, software; interfaces to combat system and/or automation systems including required data, quantity of data, data merging and integration.
  • Assist in accomplishing modeling/simulation of radar, targets, and clutter/weather; testing and evaluation of radar system performance including developing test plans and procedures, witnessing tests, and writing test reports for qualification testing, operational field testing, and factory system-level testing.
  • Attend meetings.
  • Prepare/present briefings, graphics, and visuals for/to leadership and customers.
  • Prepare security paperwork (e.g., DD Form 2875, Communications Security (COMSEC) inspection criteria).
  • Assist in access control and perform escort duties for VTC, briefing, and other visitors.
  • Answer telephones and other modes of administrative communications in the performance of duties.
  • Perform self-inspections; identify security discrepancies, and report security incidents.
  • Support security inspections; identify security discrepancies, assist in report preparation.
  • Perform courier responsibilities within the local area.
  • Control program media and information within AFMC security guidelines.
  • Populate and update databases (e.g., suspense tracking, personnel access, facility, JWICS system, SharePoint) in the performance of duties assigned.
  • Handle JWICS communications to ensure that cognizant parties are informed and that appropriate responses are prepared, coordinated and communicated while maintaining the appropriate security disciplines.
  • Support in the proper handling to include preparation and tracking of physical classified products entering or leaving the facility.
  • Planning, formulation, editing, development, publication, and storage of Special Access Program (SAP) and TS/SCI products.
  • Support meetings and events attended or hosted by the Director of Intelligence (DoI), Senior Intelligence Analyst (SIA), and Acquisition Intelligence Analysts (AIA) on an as-required basis.
  • Develop, maintain and modify schedules and calendars as required on multi-level security systems.
  • Use updated Security Classification Guide (SCG), or other source documents, to perform classification reviews on all JWICS, SIPR, and NIPR documentation ensuring proper derivative classification on all documents encountered during performance of duties.
  • Support of administrative tasks as necessary to support acquisition and operations functions.
