About The Position

Responsible for repair and maintenance of electronic systems necessary to Airport operations.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and comprehend drawings and schematics of electrical and mechanical systems at a level typically required through the completion of High School.
  • Knowledge of electronic system operations in commercial buildings as typically acquired through the completion of high school technical courses.

Nice To Haves

  • Possession of, or ability to obtain industry certification such as B1X1, NICET, or A+ is desired, but not mandatory
  • An employee must normally have completed at least twelve (12) consecutive months of employment in the current position before being eligible to apply for a new position within the Commission.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a basic knowledge of state and local fire codes and performs all work in compliance with industry standards (B1X1, BOCA, ADA).
  • Trouble shoot and repair equipment as required.
  • Maintain all CRAC owned electronic tools and test equipment in a neat and operational manner, recommending repairs, replacements, and purchases.
  • Evaluate electronic components related to the production process or the quality of final product parts and determine when there is a need for changes to the process.
  • Other assigned duties.
