Seeking Electronics Technician with at least 5 years of experience to support prototype development, assembly, and low-rate manufacturing of electronics, power, and energy systems. Qualified Candidates will be able to support the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic circuits, PCB assemblies, cables, and subassemblies for both prototype and production builds. This role requires interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and work instructions. The technician will perform manual component-level rework, SMT and through-hole modifications, and repairs on populated boards, requiring good soldering skills. Experience with automated PCB processing is a plus. The role involves assembling electronics, control, and energy storage systems, and supporting engineering in development activities such as wiring harnesses, test setups, breadboards, and prototype builds. Maintenance and operation of electrical/power test equipment will also be part of the responsibilities. Adherence to ESD, safety, and quality procedures in a lab and production environment is crucial, along with an understanding of basic regulatory compliance issues, ESD control and mitigation. EMI/RFI control and mitigation is preferred. The technician will set up standard test apparatus to conduct functional, operational, and/or environmental testing using multimeters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes. Data collection, documentation of results, and generation/updating of build records, test logs, and basic work instructions are also key. Success in CRG Defense’s corporate culture requires the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary, team-oriented environment, participate in multiple technical programs simultaneously, apply a get-it-done mindset with attention to detail, and demonstrate proactive and reactive problem-solving skills as a self-starter. Competence in basic computer usage including MS Office, and web-based forms and applications is necessary.
