About The Position

Repairs various home and automotive electronic equipment. Some or all of the following duties may apply, based on your technical level. This role requires the ability to document findings and report them to manufacturers, ensure proper data integrity by performing clerical duties as they relate to repairs, and be an active participant in the essential functions of the position, including recommendations for improvement. The technician will perform software updates, diagnose and repair units in accordance with standard United Radio procedures, and promote and adhere to United Radio’s Core Values. Compliance with United Radio's policies and procedures, and quality systems is expected. Other related duties may be requested.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Basic understanding of mathematical concepts.

Nice To Haves

• QC/Apprentice Technician - someone with little or no electronics experience/training working toward a master position.
• Master Technician - experienced in all aspects of electronics.

Responsibilities

• Some soldering of SMT (Surface Mount Component) chip components may be required.
• The ability to document findings and report them to manufacturers.
• Ensure proper data integrity by performing clerical duties as they relate to repairs.
• Be an active participant in the essential functions of the position, including recommendations for improvement.
