Electronic Technician Support II, Digital (2nd Shift)

Comtech Telecommunications Corp.•Chandler, AZ

About The Position

Under general supervision, the Electronic Technician Support II performs electrical functional testing, calibration, and verification of standard products, printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), and systems according to established procedures. The technician independently identifies and documents failures, escalates recurring issues to leads or engineering for trend analysis, and contributes to root-cause investigations. The role requires proficiency in electronic symbol recognition, circuit-design fundamentals, and hands-on troubleshooting of moderately complex systems. It is a second-shift position in Digital Assembly & Test, located in Chandler, Arizona. The technician performs functional and parametric tests on digital circuit boards and systems, troubleshoots digital components and assemblies, operates automated test stations, and validates firmware and embedded software functionality. The role also supports engineering testing for prototypes and production, documents test results, maintains a clean and organized workspace, and follows foreign object debris (FOD) prevention protocols. Under supervision, the technician may adjust, calibrate, align, or modify circuitry or components to improve product performance and may assist in constructing test fixtures.
