About The Position

As an Electronics Technician at Microwave Products Group – Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH, you will support the military community by being responsible for the testing, alignment and troubleshooting of cosite Modules. Requirements

  • Must be a US person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident - Green Card Holder)
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2-year degree in an electronics field from an accredited college, university or technical school required
  • Minimum 2 years of RF related technician or equivalent experience required
  • Must be well versed in the use of common RF test equipment (including calibration & troubleshooting equipment)
  • Must have knowledge of power amplifiers, synthesizers, power supplies, digital control circuitry, RF filter principles such as bandwidth, Q, insertion loss, and return loss as well as an advance understanding of filter alignment and component function
  • PC skills are required for data entry and use of test software
  • Demonstrates ability to read schematics and troubleshoot complex circuits
  • Must have experience with commonly used test equipment such as oscilloscope, multi-meter, power supplies and network analyzer
  • Ability to interface effectively with internal customers
  • Ability to work closely with all levels of the organization
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to read drawings and blueprints

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of J-STD-OO1 preferred and ability to obtain certification once employed is required

Responsibilities

  • Setup and perform technical electronic test functions with the aid of written procedures and instructions
  • Troubleshoot Modules performance to the circuit card component level
  • Perform mechanical assembly such as installing covers
  • Required to perform component level troubleshooting and repair of RF cosite subsystems
  • Use of schematics, PCB/PWB layouts, mechanical drawings, and work instructions
  • Module technicians will use oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, Power Amplifiers, Frequency Counters, Power Meters, and automated tests sets
