Electronic Technician I, 2nd Shift
About The Position
The Electronic Technician I will be responsible for the programming and troubleshooting of control systems, including PLCs, servo drives, AC drives, interface modules, DC Drives, and HMIs. This role also requires mechanical skills to assist with mechanical repairs and preventative and predictive maintenance tasks. The position involves reading, redlining, and creating electrical drawings, leading projects or work groups, making sound decisions, and utilizing problem-solving tools. The candidate must be a self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision, and identify/implement continuous improvement projects following change management procedures. Previous Lean Manufacturing experience is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment are essential.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with control systems and electrical troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with CMMS (MP2 preferred), PLCs (GE & Allen Bradley), Servo Controls, Drives, HMIs.
- Ability to read, redline, and create electrical drawings.
- Ability to lead projects and/or work groups.
- Ability to make sound decisions and use problem-solving tools.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Must be able to coordinate projects and communicate results.
- Must possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team-oriented environment.
- Must be a self-starter – work with minimal supervision.
- Associate’s degree in maintenance related field or 10 years maintenance experience with a High School diploma or GED.
- Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Lean Mfg. experience preferred.
- Mechanical background.
