The Electronic Technician I will be programming and troubleshooting of control systems that include PLCs, servo drives, AC drives, interface modules, DC Drives, and HMIs. Also included are mechanical skills that will allow for assistance in mechanical repairs and preventative and predictive maintenance tasks.

Requirements

  • CMMS (MP2 preferred), PLCs (GE & Allen Bradley), Servo Controls, Drives, HMIs.
  • Associate’s degree in maintenance related field or 10 years maintenance experience with a High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working with control systems and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Must possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team-oriented environment.
  • Must be a self-starter – work with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Lean Mfg. experience preferred.
  • Mechanical background.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day programming and troubleshooting of control systems that include PLCs, Servo Drives, AC Drives, Interface Modules, DC Drives, and HMIs.
  • Assistance in mechanical repairs and preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to read, redline, and create electrical drawings.
  • Demonstrates ability to lead projects and/or work groups.
  • Demonstrates ability to make sound decisions and use problem-solving tools.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Must be able to coordinate projects and communicate results.
  • Identifies and implements continuous improvement projects following the change management procedures.
