About The Position

The Electronic Technician I assists with scheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance of RDMS devices, TADSS, and Government-Furnished Property (GFP). The role follows technical manuals, maintenance checklists in InSITE, or industry best practices when no checklist is available. It also involves recording maintenance activities in real time, tracking maintained items for warranty compliance, testing equipment for operation and interoperability, and monitoring hardware baselines with the ability to revert updates that fail.

The platform includes Instrumented Player Units (IPU) RDMS simulation and training equipment, including legacy mounted and dismounted Instrumented Player Units and Lightweight Instrumented Player Units.

Requirements

• Associate's degree, or a high school diploma with no degree plus one year of related experience.
• Experience assisting with scheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance on TADSS and GFP.
• Experience recording maintenance activities in real time in a management information system and tracking warranty items by part number, serial number, and location.
• Experience testing TADSS for expected operation, interoperability, and operational verification.
• Experience monitoring hardware baselines and reverting to previous versions if updates fail.
• Active Secret (Tier 3) Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to warranty terms and track maintained items by part number, serial number, and location.
• Test TADSS to verify expected operation, interoperability, and functionality.
• Monitor hardware baselines and revert to previous versions if updates fail.
