About The Position
Electro Rent is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Electronic Technician I to join our team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone interested in developing a career in electronics and test and measurement equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One year of electronics experience or equivalent technical education
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to complete electronics training within the first year
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a warehouse and lab environment, lift up to 25 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree or electronics technical training preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Responsibilities
- Process new equipment purchases and vendor returns
- Perform basic equipment testing and automated calibrations
- Verify equipment options, condition, and accessories
- Complete accurate data entry and documentation
- Support additional technical activities as assigned
- Operate company vehicles in accordance with applicable laws and company safety policies
