Requirements

Ability to use digital multimeters, current probes, and oscilloscopes
Ability to identify basic electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes while reading a schematic
Ability to solder surface mount and through hole components
Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent; or a High School Diploma or GED with three to five years related experience and / or training
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Must be authorized to work in the US currently and in the future without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Study drawings, manuals, or specifications to troubleshoot electronic components
Assist engineers with prototype electronic components
Follow detailed instructions and procedures to conduct functional tests to evaluate electronic equipment
Read and interpret schematic, assembly, and wiring diagrams
Adjust and calibrate electronic equipment
Troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment to the component level
