About The Position

The Electronic Test Technician II is responsible for performing advanced testing and environmental stress screening (ESS) on electronic units to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards. This role involves setting up and calibrating test equipment, loading and monitoring test profiles, documenting results accurately, and troubleshooting anomalies during testing. The technician works independently, supervises Level I technicians when needed, and ensures production demands are met. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Place production units into the ESS chamber according to established work instructions. Verify correct positioning and secure all units as required.
  • Select and load the appropriate test profile for the current testing phase. Confirm that the profile settings match the work order specifications.
  • Continuously monitor the ESS chamber and testing rack while the cycle is running. Record any anomalies or alerts immediately.
  • Complete all required entries in the browser-based production tracking software. Sign off electronically once tasks are completed and verified.
  • Perform pre-test and final test procedures using the approved app-based test software. Document results accurately in the designated system.
  • Review the production demand list regularly. Ensure all required units for the day are completed and ready for the next process.
