Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.
- Basic Electronic skills (AC/DC/resistance measurements)
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and apply information
- Good Mechanical skills
- Ability to frequently move and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Willing to work overtime on occasions as required
Nice To Haves
- Aerospace equipment experience
- Excellent soldering skills: IPC J-STD-001: Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies certified
- Experience with Electronic Equipment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Microsoft Office Suite knowledge (Word and Excel)
- Keyence Laser Marking System knowledge
Responsibilities
- Under close supervision, performs routine technical functions related to the support of development engineering drawings such as assembly of electronics and Electro-mechanical systems, fabrication, modification, checkout and test.
- Reads, interprets and writes Work Instructions, schematics, wire lists, and drawings.
- Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform assembly, checkout, routine testing, of Electro-mechanical prototype, development & production harness & cable products.
- Ensures quality of the hardware is maintained and company procedures are followed.
- Ensures work is done with completeness, accuracy, adherence to operation sheets, ISO procedures, schedules, and assign tasks.
- Provides regular communication to shop leads and Work Center management on status and technical issues.
- Works in versatile environment, performing parallel tasks and duties
