About The Position

As an Electronic Monitoring Technician, you will be responsible for installing, removing, and maintaining various GPS and Alcohol Monitors. You will act as a liaison between CPI and the courts, agencies, jails, and participants. The position does require local travel, so reliable transportation is a must.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Valid auto insurance.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Clean driving history.
  • Pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Ability to testify in a courtroom.
  • Must be comfortable entering a jail.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Must have conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

  • Install, remove, maintain, and repair electronic monitoring devices.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electronic monitoring devices.
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed.
  • Work directly with and provide excellent customer service to court personnel, agencies, jails, and participants on a monitor.
  • Schedule and conduct in person visits with participants for device inspection.
  • Provide courtroom testimony when needed.
  • Provide accurate reports to the courts.
  • Maintain inventory of devices for multiple locations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and inspection of devices.
  • Act as liaison to the courts, agencies, jails, and participants.
  • Review and process client payments.
  • Assist in other company roles as needed.
