The Electronic Field Technician will be responsible for installing, modifying, and maintaining SCADA systems for Member Systems and cooperatives. This role involves engineering and managing projects, configuring and testing various communication equipment and devices, performing system and network administration, and creating software programs to meet programming needs. The technician will also train personnel on equipment operation, troubleshoot end-user devices, and monitor network availability. The position requires driving a company van, potentially operating a forklift, and being available for system outages, with occasional travel and overtime. This role is with Wabash Valley Power, a not-for-profit electric cooperative and wholesale provider of electricity.
