Behind every splashpad is a robust, intelligent control system—and we’re looking for an Electronic Engineer to lead its evolution. In this role, you will be the technical owner of our controller platform, shaping the architecture, performance, and reliability of the electronic systems at the heart of our products. This is a hands-on position with strong influence, combining hardware design, embedded systems, and cross-functional leadership. You will play a key role in defining how our products are built, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, durability, and innovation in real-world environments. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or eligible
5+ years of experience in embedded or industrial electronic system design
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to take ownership and drive technical decisions
Organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven mindset
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment
Curiosity and openness to new technologies, including the use of AI tools in engineering
Bilingual French and English (English required for collaboration with U.S. and European stakeholders 20% of the time).
Strong expertise in analog and digital circuit design
Experience with low-voltage power systems and protection circuits
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols
Experience with SOM and/or microcontroller-based systems
Solid understanding of EMC/EMI and ESD design principles
Familiarity with Canadian, U.S., and European electrical standards
Ability to estimate effort, cost, and understand manufacturing constraints.

Nice To Haves

Exposure to embedded Linux is an asset
Knowledge of systems engineering processes is an asset

Responsibilities

Define and execute the controller technology roadmap
Standardize electronic architectures to improve reliability, cost, and manufacturability
Lead decisions on system architecture, including SOM/MCU platforms, power systems, sensors, and industrial communications
Ensure consistency and scalability across product generations
Evaluate and integrate new technologies to accelerate development and improve system robustness
Collaborate closely with R&D, manufacturing, technical support, and product management.
Design, validate, and document electronic systems (analog, digital, power, and industrial interfaces)
Develop schematics, BOMs, and technical documentation
Oversee PCB design and participate in layout reviews
Define and execute validation and testing strategies
Ensure compliance with EMC/EMI, ESD, and applicable standards (UL, CSA, CE)
Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and supporting documentation
Specify and support development of test benches for production and qualification
Support manufacturing, troubleshooting, and field issue resolution.
Act as OIQ signing engineer for electrical schematics and drawings
Ensure compliance with Quebec, North American, and international standards
Support certification processes and regulatory approvals
Promote safe, robust, and maintainable design practices.
