About The Position

Stefanini Group is hiring an Electron Microscope Technician for its client, Client Electronics Materials, located in Hillsboro, OR. This full-time position involves performing electron microscopy characterization during the 2nd shift and occasionally on weekends. The successful candidate will support R&D projects by executing SEM imaging and sample prep requests on time. The role requires the ability to work independently, with strong communication and collaboration skills to ensure maximum throughput in a fast-paced environment. Hands-on SEM experience is essential, familiarity with FIB is preferred, along with basic microscope troubleshooting skills.

Requirements

• Ability to hand-on operate Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) is required (2+ years of experience).
• Hands-on SEM experience is a must have.
• Basic microscope troubleshooting skills.
• Must be able to work on the 2nd shift most days with some weekend commitment needed occasionally.
• Expected to work independently with minimum supervision as well as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with FIB is preferred.
• Ability to operate Focused ion-beam (FIB) is preferred.
• Preferred BS Degree in STEM with basic knowledge in semiconductor.
• Familiarity with characterization techniques in general.
