Vishay Dale Electronics – East Windsor, CT is currently seeking applicants for an Electron Beam Strip Weld Operator on 2nd Shift (Monday – Thursday, 4:00pm-2:30am). Overtime is available as needed. Responsible for producing Vishay products that meet and exceed quality and customer expectations.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience
This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. As such, this position is open only to applicants who qualify as “U.S. Persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Weld Course certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Performs the daily functions of an E-Beam weld machine to produce all WSL parts.
Reading blueprints and work orders.
Set up of the tooling and weld parameters according to the drawing.
Performs pre-weld, in-line, and post weld quality inspection.
Follows all Quality and EHS policies and procedures.
Responsible for recording production output and scrap.
Must maintain a clean workstation and adhere to 5S guidelines.
Performs oxy/acetylene butt-welds
Tooling and machine set-up
Performs quality inspection of welded WSL parts
Maintains a clean and organized workstation / 5S
Understands all processes and specification within the department and reports to Supervisor any discrepancies in line specifications.
Troubleshoot tooling and equipment when material is out of tolerance
Load and unload material using hoist / moving finished material when rack is full using a pallet jack.
