Title: Electromechanical Technology Instructor Bargaining Unit/Salary Level: Salary and Benefits commensurate with the Agreement between the MCCS Trustees and the MEA Faculty Unit. The salary range is in the $40,000s to low $50,000s, depending on qualifications. Responsibilities: Central Maine Community College seeks an Electromechanical Technology (ELT) instructor for our ELT Department. This is a full-time, in person faculty position primarily responsible to teach 25 credit hours per semester and begins teaching responsibilities in the Spring 2026 semester. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses such as, but not limited to, Electrical Controls, Industrial Controls, Industrial Robotics, Process Control and Measurement, Electronic Devices I and lab time to allow students to demonstrate skills learned in class lecture. Courses are delivered in-person during the day and evening, online, hybrid, or a combination. In addition to instruction, position responsibilities include student advising, curriculum development, assessment and other related duties. Minimum Qualifications: Associate's degree Master Electrician license Relevant industrial experience in areas such as electrical controls, industrial automation, robotics, process control, measurement systems, or electronic devices. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Bachelor's or master's degree Teaching experience at the post-secondary level Why work for the Maine Community College System?
