The College of Lake County (CLC) is seeking an Instructor of Automotive Technology. Instruction may include first- and second-year college-level courses taught to our diverse student body across the Grayslake, Lakeshore, and Southlake campuses, as well as to local businesses, community organizations, and industry partners. The Automotive Technology Department offers an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree and certificate programs, preparing students for careers in the automotive industry. As a Master Certified (MAST) program by the ASE Education Foundation, CLC provides hands-on training in eight key automotive systems: engine repair, automatic transmission/transaxle, manual drive train and axles, suspension and steering, braking systems, electrical/electronic systems, heating and air conditioning, and engine performance.
