This position performs various tasks required to support the (ATLO) Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations of spacecraft in support of the GPS program.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and hold a Security clearance level of SECRET.
  • Experience working with test and measurement equipment (i.e., multi-meters, scales, torque wrenches).
  • Able to read, understand and work from schematics, engineering drawings.
  • Must be willing and have the ability to work 2nd shift/weekend work when the demand is needed.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a confined space environment.
  • Ability and willingness to climb scaffolding to 15 feet and perform job functions.
  • Ability to lift 25lbs.
  • Working knowledge and experience with the use of basic hand tools.

  • Strong ability and desire to work in a team environment.
  • Possession of a valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License, demonstrating expertise in aircraft maintenance and repair.
  • Strong autonomy and self initiative traits.
  • Military background and or leadership-type roles.
  • Usage and knowledge of adhesives and bonding materials.
  • Knowledge and Experience and of cable harness fabrication and repair.
  • Knowledge and experience in crane operations, lifting, and handling.
  • Knowledge and Experience with production and or processing of critical hardware, specifically with spacecraft ground processing and mission operations.
  • Knowledge and Experience of general test and measurement equipment and operations.
  • Knowledge and Experience of environmental test operations.
