About The Position

Electromechanical Maintenance Field Specialist Role focus Execute break/fix and preventive maintenance to keep industrial equipment running at peak performance. Observe equipment in operation, diagnose root causes, disassemble assemblies, adjust mechanisms and controls, repair/replace faulty parts, and restore to spec. Identify and procure required parts, consumables, and repair items. Work independently with minimal instruction, following recognized industry standards. Collaborate with customer teams on maintenance, reliability programs, and PM procedures. Operate machining equipment (lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools); perform welding when necessary. Adhere to customer contractor conduct, housekeeping expectations, and safety protocols. Document all activities in service reports and relevant management systems. Use industrial control systems to analyze complex faults, perform maintenance, and resolve issues. Apply deep electrical, mechanical, and fluid power expertise to troubleshoot and repair. Engage in OJT and self-study to grow technical capability. Comply with safety policies, procedures, technical instructions; maintain situational awareness and recognize hazards. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Associate degree (technical) with 5+ years in the industry, or 7+ years relevant industry experience. Skilled with basic and specialized hand tools. Proven ability across electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems to analyze issues, propose alternatives, and execute repairs. Extensive travel readiness: local, national, and international. Preferred background Preventive maintenance techniques, precision metrology, mechanical alignment, and general process equipment maintenance. Familiarity with PLCs, field instrumentation, and motor/drive systems. Occasional exposure to outdoor weather and risk of electrical shock. Loud factory settings with possible exposure to hazardous materials and greasy or slippery conditions. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Associate degree (technical) with 5+ years in the industry, or 7+ years relevant industry experience.

  • Proven ability across electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems to analyze issues, propose alternatives, and execute repairs.
  • Extensive travel readiness: local, national, and international.
