Main Purpose Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of heavy equipment and overhead cranes, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and diesel systems. This role also involves preventative maintenance, technical diagnostics, and repair.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in heavy equipment repair, overhead crane maintenance, or industrial field service
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Familiarity with gas/diesel engines, transmissions, and rigging principles
  • Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics, P&IDs, and OEM service manuals
  • Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, and PLC/VFD operation
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to job sites
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and site onboarding requirements

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment and overhead cranes in an industrial setting.
  • Repair hoists, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components
  • Service gas and diesel engines, transmissions, and drivetrain systems
  • Apply rigging and safe lifting practices during maintenance and installation
  • Implement and manage preventative maintenance programs for mobile and crane equipment
  • Troubleshoot motors, MCCs, VFDs, PLCs, and associated wiring
  • Perform voltage/current testing, insulation resistance testing, and electrical fault diagnosis
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic schematics
  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
