Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and travelers.
Basic math skills.
Familiarity with standard measuring instruments (SMI).
Prepared for working conditions that involve exposure to machinery, chemicals, noise, and explosives, necessitating the use of personal protective equipment.

Nice To Haves

Expertise in electronic assembly.
Certified soldering.

Responsibilities

Perform essential, entry-level manufacturing and assembly tasks in support of the production of miniature Cartridge-Actuated Devices (CAD) and Propellant-Actuated Devices (PAD).
Mechanical and electronic assembly operations.
Operation of assembly equipment under close supervision.
Weighing and pressing of pyrotechnic powders in accordance with approved procedures.
Meeting assigned job completion schedules.
Performing self-inspections to ensure compliance with established quality and production requirements.
Accurately reporting run times and quantities.
Strict adherence to company, customer, and regulatory policies.
Maintain assigned equipment and work areas.
Promptly report any out-of-tolerance conditions, quality concerns, or equipment issues to supervision.
