About The Position

At the core of the maintenance team of the Vaudreuil Plant, the position holder must accomplish the main maintenance and repair tasks of industrial electric and pneumatic equipment. Participates in the installation of new production equipment and in the continual improvement projects.

Requirements

DEP in mechanics or electromechanics.
Excellent mechanical and electrical knowledge
Minimum of 5 to 7 years in a similar position.
Written and Spoken Languages: English and French
Good communicator.
Autonomous and good judgment.
Excellent capacity in mechanical and electrical problem resolution
Good manual dexterity
Computer knowledge (Word, Maintenance Management Software)
Work experience in a pharmaceutical environment with knowledge of GMPs
Available to answer emergency calls (cellphone will be provided)

Responsibilities

Performs the maintenance and repairs of industrial equipment.
Performs diverse tasks related to preventive maintenance of equipment (cleaning, inspection, lubrication, etc.)
Works with colleagues to determine and solve equipment problems.
Ensures the training of operators on machines and equipment.
Revise and update procedures
Recommends measures for improvement of production methods, safety, equipment performance and product quality.
Participates in the execution of validations (IQ-OQ-PQ)
Responsible for ordering parts from suppliers and assures the maintenance of an adequate level of inventory for replacement parts.
Ensure good working order of utility equipment (CVC, compressor, reverse osmosis, furnace of hot water).
Performs preventative maintenance (PM) as directed and completes all related documentation.
Answers to calls for troubleshooting
All other tasks as assigned.
