About The Position

We are looking for a skilled Electromechanic to join our food packaging team in Ville St-Laurent, Quebec. This role involves working on evening shift to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of various production equipment.

Requirements

• DEP in electromechanics or a related field.
• Proven experience working with food packaging equipment, such as Matrix/Toyo Form-Fill-Seal, pouch filler-sealers, Ishida scales, box formers, and box sealers.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently, especially during weekend and weekday shifts.
• Knowledge of safety standards and protocols in the food packaging industry.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• License C is an asset

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment such as Matrix/Toyo Form-Fill-Seal, pouch filler-sealers, Ishida scales, box formers, and box sealers.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and ensure timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections of machines to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to implement safety protocols and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Document maintenance activities in the FIXX CMMS and ensure accurate reporting.
