About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Electromagnetic Spectrum Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to perform integrated, multidisciplinary assessments that assess survivability of critical U.S. Air Force mission systems, infrastructures, and assets. The Air Force Mission Assurance Assessment Team requires highly specialized technical, analytical, and investigative support services to develop and conduct comprehensive assessments of an Installation and/or Facility. This challenging and exciting work will provide you with the opportunity to travel CONUS and OCONUS to the most important Air Force systems and critical infrastructure to ensure the survivability of any threat or attack. This is an exciting opportunity to experience travelling to destinations around the world and protecting mission critical infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Expert in applying Radio Frequency (RF) engineering principles to evaluate spectrum dependent technologies.
  • Familiarization with a wide variety of spectrum dependent systems including radars, communications, data links, SATCOM, and GPS technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to determine root causes and recommend methods of resolution.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide expert advice on the development, integration, operation of and planning for spectrum specific countermeasure.
  • 5+ years experience required.
  • Must have an Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% per year.
  • Must have a valid US passport.

Responsibilities

  • Perform integrated, multidisciplinary assessments that assess survivability of critical U.S. Air Force mission systems, infrastructures, and assets.
  • Develop and conduct comprehensive assessments of an Installation and/or Facility.
  • Travel CONUS and OCONUS to the most important Air Force systems and critical infrastructure to ensure the survivability of any threat or attack.
  • Assess supporting Defense Critical Infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities, which can be exploited by the UAS threat.
  • Conduct 1) Pre-Assessment Phase activities (e.g., Mission Analysis and Pre-Site Survey (PSS) work); 2) Assessment Phase activities to include onsite vulnerability and risk assessments; and 3) Post-Assessment Phase activities (e.g., Post Analysis, Report Writing, and MAJCOM follow-up, etc.).
  • Provide specific SME assistance to Technical Support Projects (TSPs).
  • Provide Design Review assistance.
  • Provide technical assistance to the Home Team.
