About The Position

You will be the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineer- Level 2 for the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) team which is responsible for ensuring electromagnetic compatibility and performance of advanced aeronautic systems. As the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineer- Level 2 you will be responsible for leading requirements development, integration, and verification testing of electromagnetic systems across flight‑test platforms.

Requirements

  • STEM degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering or Physics
  • Experience/Knowledge in electrical circuit analysis, electromagnetic interference (EMI)
  • Coursework/understanding/project/work experience with electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic wave theory (Maxwell's Laws)
  • Coursework/understanding/project/work experience with electrical grounding concepts for circuits designs and antennas.
  • Familiar/Experience with standard test equipment, i.e. Spectrum Analyzer, volt/ohm meter, oscilloscope, Network Analyzer.
  • Basic understanding of RF propagation and principles is desired.
  • Demonstrated experience using standard office software tools/solutions. e.g. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project).
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
  • The selected candidate must possess an active Interim Secret clearance to start.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, track, and verify system requirements tied to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and E3 performance.
  • Plan and execute platform‑level EMC testing, including test procedure design and flight‑test modification oversight.
  • Perform RF and antenna analysis, COSITE assessments, and radome performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate electromagnetic radiation hazard (EMRADHAZ) mitigation and support wiring, cabling, and power‑system integration.
