About The Position

Arcarithm is seeking a DevOps Engineer E3 to join the C2BMC-Global team. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing a complex hyperconverged cloud infrastructure on the Nutanix platform. The engineer will develop and maintain automated deployment scripts, collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipelines, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions using various technologies and testing these solutions to ensure they meet requirements. A key responsibility is tracking the impact of events and actions on the underlying infrastructure, such as patching and maintenance. The role is located in Colorado Springs, CO, and requires an active DoD Top Secret clearance prior to starting.

Requirements

  • Generally has 5 years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
  • An Active Final TOP SECRET clearance is needed prior to starting.
  • Candidate must obtain a DOD 8570/8140 certification such as Security+ CE or equivalent within three months of starting.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare, RedHat Openstack, or Nutanix.
  • Experience with Linux and/or Windows Server system administration.
  • Experience with a scripting language such as Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Ansible.
  • Experience working within a Scrum team in an Agile environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience implementing configuration management methodologies using Ansible.
  • Prior experience with a Nutanix Hyperconverged on-prem cloud platform.
  • Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
  • Scrum Master experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, implementing, and managing a complex hyperconverged cloud infrastructure on the Nutanix platform.
  • Developing and maintaining automated deployment scripts using tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
  • Collaborating with development teams to implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
  • Designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions using a variety of technologies including Bash, Python, Ansible, and PowerShell.
  • Testing and validating automation solutions to ensure they meet requirements and are free from defects.
  • Tracking the impact of events/actions on the underlying infrastructure being managed, such as patching and maintenance.
