Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrochemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Experience with molten salt systems or industrial-scale electrochemical cell design and development.
Strong understanding of electrochemical principles, process engineering, and system scale up.
Experience supporting complex engineering projects from concept through implementation.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.

Nice To Haves

Senior-level engineering experience in industrial electrochemistry.
Experience supporting nuclear, national laboratories, or other highly regulated environments.
Experience supporting PYRO or other advanced electrochemical process technologies.
Experience with high-temperature electrochemical systems, molten salt processing, or advanced materials development.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a relevant engineering discipline is a plus.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance, if required

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize industrial-scale electrochemical cells and electrochemical process systems.
Support research, scale-up, testing, and deployment of advanced electrochemical technologies.
Provide technical leadership on electrochemical system design, performance, and process optimization.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and scientific teams supporting PYRO and advanced process programs.
Develop engineering calculations, technical documentation, test plans, and design reports.
Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards, DOE requirements, and industry best practices.
