Our team is looking for an Electro-Mechanical Test Technician III to join our team at Chatsworth, CA. The Electro- Mechanical Tet Technician III is responsible for assembling, integrating, testing, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electro-mechanical aerospace products and LRUs. This position performs advanced functional and diagnostic testing while ensuring compliance with engineering specifications, customer requirements, and quality standards. The role serves as a technical resource by supporting Engineering, mentoring team members, and driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED with equivalent technical experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace, defense, electronics, or electro-mechanical manufacturing with advanced testing and troubleshooting experience.
  • FAA Repair Station or aerospace manufacturing experience
  • This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person ” as defined by 22. C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, integrate, test, calibrate, and troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical aerospace products, subassemblies, and LRUs using engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and customer specifications.
  • Perform functional, diagnostic, and acceptance testing using electrical and mechanical test equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, signal generators, power supplies, and other specialized instrumentations to verify product performance and compliance.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues by performing root cause analysis, repairing or modifying assemblies, and collaborating with Engineering and Quality to implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate production, quality, calibration, and test documentation while ensuring compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, IPC standards, and applicable aerospace quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, test methods, tooling, documentation, workplace organization (5S), and overall product quality and efficiency.
  • Provide technical leadership and support by mentoring technicians, assisting with new product introductions, supporting cross-functional teams, and serving as a technical resource within Manufacturing.
