We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to serve as a technical expert and reliability leader within our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for advanced troubleshooting, equipment reliability, automation support, preventive maintenance, and mentoring maintenance team members.

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation systems.
  • Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, and machine controls.
  • Knowledge of industrial networking (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, VLANs, managed switches).
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, drawings, and technical manuals.
  • Working knowledge of 480V three-phase electrical systems, motor controls, breakers, relays, and safety devices.
  • Experience with root cause analysis, reliability initiatives, and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work overtime as required.

Nice To Haves

  • CMRT, CRL, Vibration Analysis, Infrared Thermography, or Ultrasound Certifications.
  • Rockwell, Siemens S7, or FANUC Automation Certifications.
  • Experience with predictive maintenance technologies and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM).

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, PLC, automation, servo, robotics, and control systems.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and uptime.
  • Develop and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Support equipment installation, commissioning, and capital projects.
  • Read, modify, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs.
  • Diagnose industrial networks including EtherNet/IP, Profinet, VLANs, and managed switches.
  • Maintain electrical systems, motor controls, power distribution, VFDs, and safety circuits.
  • Utilize CMMS to manage maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory.
  • Train and mentor maintenance technicians on electrical and controls systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, GMPs, LOTO, Arc Flash, NFPA, and NEC requirements.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, OEMs, and vendors to drive continuous improvement.
