About The Position

The Electro-Mechanical Technician (EMT) is a key part of keeping our facilities running. That means handling preventive maintenance, responding to breakdowns, completing project work, and helping less experienced techs when needed. It's hands-on work every day across a wide range of systems and equipment. If you like variety and solving problems with your hands, you'll fit in here.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or technical/vocational certification required
  • At least 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience
  • Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Some experience with welding, fabrication, or carpentry
  • Comfortable reading electrical diagrams and equipment manuals
  • Ability to troubleshoot independently and see problems through to a fix

Responsibilities

  • Complete scheduled work orders and preventive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and get production back on track
  • Handle project work including welding, fabrication, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and lighting
  • Log work in the CMMS and help maintain parts inventory
  • Inspect equipment and building systems for safety and quality
  • Spot inefficiencies and suggest improvements
  • Help train newer technicians as needed
  • Step up and lead the team when supervisors aren't on shift
