About The Position

Glen Raven, a global leading manufacturer of performance fabrics, is seeking candidates for an Electro/Mechanical Technician with Welding experience. This position is for the 1st shift, with regular hours from 7 am to 3 pm, and will include weekend work. Applicants must be flexible with their work schedule. The starting pay rate is $27.64 per hour, with potential increases based on experience and training. Candidates must possess a strong mechanical aptitude, be able to interpret schematics, and weld various metals and alloys. The successful candidate will have demonstrated skills and traits with at least 3 years of experience installing and welding structural and piping systems.

  • Proficiency in welding carbon and stainless-steel pipe

  • Ability to weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
  • Evaluate and inspect welded surfaces, structures, and components to discover flaws
  • Load, transport, and unload material, tools, equipment, and supplies using forklift
  • Experienced in operating aerial lifts
  • Time management skills
  • Good organizational skills

  • Able to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends
  • Self-starter needing minimal direction
