About The Position

Alliance Laundry Systems is a stable and successful manufacturing operation seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Electro Mechanical Technician for their Weekend Nights team. This role involves working Friday through Sunday from 4pm to 4am. Requirements

Two-year Associate degree and 2-4 years work experience required.
Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.
Ability to stand for long periods, sit, use manual dexterity, stoop, and bend.
Pass a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Must have knowledge of electrical power, and water distribution systems.

Responsibilities

Design minor electrical circuits.
Test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits for machine control.
Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading schematics or blueprints.
Perform basic mechanical repairs.
Perform work of lower-class identifications.
Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts.
Install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.
Interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions.
Perform lay outs, assembly, installation, testing, repairs, and adjustments of electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services including panels, breakers, and conduit.
Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures and complete circuits according to diagram specifications.
Perform repairs, installations, replacements, and testing of electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
Perform a variety of work as directed by the Group Leader.
