About The Position

Alliance Laundry Systems is a stable and successful manufacturing operation seeking an Electro Mechanical Technician 2. This is a fast-paced role where clear direction and a supportive team environment are provided to ensure success. The position operates on Weekend Nights, Friday through Sunday, from 4pm to 4am.

Requirements

Two-year Associate degree.
2-4 years of work experience.
Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.
Standing for long periods.
Sitting.
Manual dexterity.
Stooping.
Bending.
Passing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems.

Responsibilities

Design minor electrical circuits.
Test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits for machine and equipment control.
Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints.
Perform basic mechanical repairs.
Perform the work of lower-class identifications.
May direct the work of others in lower classifications.
Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts.
Install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.
Interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions.
Perform lay outs, assembly, installation, testing, repair, and adjustment of electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services including panels, breakers, and conduit.
Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures and complete circuits according to diagram specifications.
Perform repairs, installations, replacements, and testing of electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
Perform a variety of work as directed by the Group Leader.
